New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) invites students across our service territory to enter our Poster and Video Contests. It's a fun and educational way to showcase creativity and energy-saving ideas while earning a chance to win exciting prizes!

Who Can Enter: All fifth-grade students in NJNG’s service area, including homeschoolers.
How to Participate:
- Create a poster that promotes saving energy with a focus on natural gas used for heating, hot water, laundry and cooking.
- Illustrate at least one smart way to save natural gas and make that idea easy to spot.
- Include the phrase “Conserve to Preserve®”
- Important: All entries are subject to the Official Rules.
Submission Deadline: November 13, 2026
How to Submit:
- Email: Send scanned or photographed posters, along with completed forms, to contest@njng.com
- Mail: Send posters, along with completed forms, to NJNG’s Conserve to Preserve® Poster Contest, 1415 Wyckoff Road, Wall, NJ 07719
Prizes:
- A personal tablet*
- $1,000* for their school or homeschool group environmental project
- $500* for their class
- $100* for their teacher

Begins Monday, September 14, 2026, and ends Friday, November 13, 2026. Open to legal residents of New Jersey who are
fifth grade students (traditional or homeschooled) in NJNG's service territory at time of entry. Void outside of New Jersey and where prohibited. Limit one

Who Can Enter: All high school students (age 13+), including homeschoolers, in NJNG’s service area.
How to Participate:
- Create a 30-second to 2-minute video that promotes saving energy with a focus on natural gas used for heating, hot water, laundry and cooking.
- Show at least one smart way to save natural gas and make it a main theme of your video.
- Include the phrase “Conserve to Preserve®”
- Important: All entries are subject to the Official Rules.
Submission Deadline: November 13, 2026
How to Submit:
- Email your video and completed forms to contest@njng.com.
Prizes:
- First Place: $1,500*
- Second Place: $1,000*
- Third Place: $500*
- Plus, each winner also earns $1,000* for their school or
home school association toward an energy
conservation or environmental project.
