Go Hog Wild for the Winner of Our Don’t Hog Energy! Video Contest
Congratulations Amy Kaszuba on winning NJNG’s Don’t Hog Energy! Video Contest. As part of our commitment to sustainability, the video contest was designed to promote energy conservation to all ages.
Amy took the top honor for her original, stylized animated video that transformed The Efficient Fable of the Big Bad Energy Hog — a story from the national nonprofit Alliance to Save Energy (Alliance) — into an informative and playful adventure that makes saving energy fun for young students.
The tale follows three wolves who take steps to save energy and protect the environment as their nemesis the Energy Hog lurks about trying to trick them with his wasteful ways. Through creative storytelling, this video will serve as an engaging educational tool for kindergarten through second grade students as part of NJNG’s Energy for Education initiative and Alliance’s EmPowered Schools program.About Amy
