Through our Speakers’ Bureau, we reach out to our communities and provide valuable information on a variety of subjects, including natural gas safety, energy conservation, energy assistance and more. Our interactive presentations are designed to help us connect with our neighbors, from young students to senior citizens on topics such as:

Conserving Energy in Your Home
In this presentation, you’ll see how saving on your energy costs is easy with NJNG’s conservation and high-efficiency equipment rebate programs. Learn about new tools and resources in the industry to help you conserve even more. Our no- and low-cost tips can help reduce your energy bills while you stay more comfortable at home.

A New Spin on Energy Savings
This fun, interactive game promotes audience participation. It includes a prize wheel filled with information on rebate programs, energy assistance and energy and money savings tips to help lower your energy bills. The game can be customized for all ages and features prizes for audience members.

Carbon Monoxide and Natural Gas Safety Learn how to avoid the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO), the common causes of CO buildup in homes and the symptoms of CO poisoning. This program also covers safety measures taken by NJNG and the natural gas industry.

Energy Assistance Programs Learn which programs are available for customers facing financial difficulties and how to apply for energy assistance.

The Energy Drop
Modeled after the game Plinko, this interactive presentation features a unique game board with information on a variety of ways to save energy and money.

Energy Lingo
Enjoy the fun of Bingo while learning about conservation, safety and other important natural gas topics. Features prizes for audience members and offers fun for all ages.

Family Feud
"Survey Says" ... based on the popular TV show, contestants work together to name the most popular answers to survey questions. It's fast, fun and filled with great tips along the way. We'll even customize the theme to suit your group's interest. And there are prizes!

Staying Comfortable in Extreme Temperatures
Learn how weather can affect your body and ways to protect yourself from extreme temperatures. This program will help you recognize the signs of heat stress and hypothermia and how to prevent them.

Careers in the Natural Gas Industry
Today, the natural gas industry offers a wide variety of career opportunities. Learn valuable tips for a successful job interview and develop skills to assist you in your job search.

Natural Gas: Your Invisible Friend In this program students act as peer reporters and launch an investigation about natural gas. Students find out how natural gas is used in a science lab, popcorn plant and pizza parlor. These real-life situations teach children about exploration, distribution, natural gas vehicles and what they should do if they smell natural gas.

Learning Safety the Natural Way, A Children’s School Program
Geared toward students from kindergarten through fourth grade, this seven-minute video and workbook teaches school children about natural gas safety. Additional school-specific progams can be found under the Energy for Education tab.
