NEW JERSEY NATURAL GAS RECOGNIZED NATIONWIDE AS A UTILITY EASIEST TO DO BUSINESS WITH

WALL, N.J. – For the seventh consecutive year, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), the principal subsidiary of New Jersey Resources (NYSE: NJR), was named one of the top natural gas and electric utilities in the country that are “easiest to do business with” according to the 2025 Cogent Syndicated Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement™: Residential study by Escalent.

NJNG is among the 40 largest utilities in the U.S. recognized for significant improvements in providing customers with ease-of-use in accessing voluntary
offerings— including self-service options, energy-efficiency programs and more.

Escalent conducted surveys among 59,793 residential electric, natural gas and combination utility customers of the 140 largest utility companies in the U.S. This study was based on customer effort scores, customer ratings and measures.
