Picture This Caption That Contest

NJNG is pleased to announce the winners in our inaugural Picture This, Caption That! contest:

Students won $500, their teachers won $100 and the winner's school received $1,000 to go toward an energy- or conservation-related program. Way to go!

Picture This, Caption That! is our new, simple photo caption contest to inspire students in grades six through eight to think about science, energy conservation and environmental stewardship, while encouraging their artistic and communication skills

By telling a visual story with fun and creative captions, students demonstrated critical thinking and creative writing skills.
