NJNG OFFERS ZERO PERCENT FINANCING FOR HIGH-EFFICIENCY UPGRADES
04/18/2007 - For Immediate ReleaseBy installing energy-efficient furnaces and boilers, customers will not only save money on their monthly bills, but they will also help to conserve natural resources and reduce carbon emissions, the leading cause of climate change.
Customers who are interested in applying for NJNG’s Zero Percent Financing offer should choose an independent heating contractor who will help them to select equipment that meets their home’s needs. To be eligible for the loan, installed equipment must meet the WARMAdvantage Program efficiency guidelines with an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency, or AFUE rating, of 90 for furnaces and 85 for boilers. The WARMAdvantage Program, sponsored by New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, provides homeowner rebates toward the purchase of qualifying high-efficiency natural gas equipment.
Loans range from $2,000 to $5,000 and have a term of three years. Customers will also be eligible for a $300 WARMAdvantage rebate when they choose this equipment.

To qualify, customers must submit their application to Commerce Bank between now and June 30, 2007 and purchase and install a qualified WARMAdvantage Program furnace or boiler prior to August 30, 2007.
