NJNG’S LYNCH PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT OF ENERGY DELIVERY
11/16/2005 - For Immediate ReleaseWALL, N.J. – Laurence M. Downes, chairman and CEO of New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), announced today that Craig Lynch of Lakewood has been promoted to vice president – energy delivery.
Since 1997, Lynch has served as director – distribution. He originally joined NJNG in 1984 as a corrosion technician, and has served various other positions throughout his more than 20 years with the company. As vice president – energy delivery, Lynch will be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of NJNG’s distribution system, engineering, regular design and maintenance, transmission system maintenance, operating two liquefied natural gas facilities and managing outside contractors, the storeroom, meter shop and transportation pool.

Lynch earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from West Virginia University in 1984. He currently serves on the Operating Section Managing Committee and the Distribution Integrity Management Steering Group for the American Gas Association. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
