  • Does NJNG offer tours of their facilities?

    • NJNG has a Corporate Visit Program designed to familiarize students with the various career paths our industry has to offer. Students have an opportunity to view our natural gas supply department and customer service center. If your school or organization is interested in a corporate tour, please contact the consumer and community relations department at 732-938-1035 or e-mail speakersbureau@njng.com.

  • Will NJNG provide speakers for organizations?

    • NJNG’s Speakers’ Bureau provides FREE programs designed to keep our communities well informed on a variety of topics. Whether you’re looking for a luncheon speaker, a classroom presentation, a guest lecturer or any opportunity for your group to learn about energy, NJNG has Speakers’ Bureau presentations for every age and interest. If you are interested in scheduling a speaker for your organization, please contact the consumer and community relations department at 732-938-1035 or e-mail speakersbureau@njng.com.

  • Does NJNG have a charity or foundation?

    • Yes. NJNG’s goal for corporate and philanthropic giving is to make a positive impact on the communities we serve in Monmouth, Ocean and Morris counties. NJNG supports hundreds of nonprofit organizations that provide vital services in our neighborhoods. Our priority is to partner with nonprofit groups that focus on community outreach, economic growth, education, health, safety and the environment. Requests should be mailed to: New Jersey Natural Gas, 1415 Wyckoff Road, Wall, NJ 07719, Attn: NJNG Charity. 

  • What special services does NJNG offer for seniors?

    • NJNG is especially proud to offer a number of programs to benefit senior citizens – a large and growing segment of our customer population. If you have difficulty keeping your natural gas account up to date and you’re over 65 years of age, you can request a courtesy call prior to any suspension of natural gas service for nonpayment.

      Our Third-Party Notification service allows residential customers to designate a relative, friend or government agency to receive a duplicate copy of any discontinuance notice for nonpayment of bills. The third party is not responsible for payment. To apply for either of these services please call 800-221-0051 or e-mail customerservice@njng.com.

  • Does NJNG offer energy assistance programs?

    • NJNG’s efforts to provide safe, reliable and affordable service include helping customers manage energy costs through payment arrangements. Our budget plan can help lower your winter heating bills by spreading your annual costs evenly over 12 monthly payments at no additional cost. 

      We also work closely with community service organizations so that we can help customers experiencing financial difficulties access available energy assistance through federal, state and local programs.

      The NJNG Gift of Warmth fund assists customers unable to afford their natural gas heating bills. For additional information on energy assistance please call 800-221-0051 or e-mail customerservice@njng.com.

  • Will NJNG provide volunteers for organizations?

    • NJNG’s community involvement is supported by our Volunteers Inspiring Service in Our Neighborhoods (VISION) program. VISION volunteers collect and package food and clothing to donate to local agencies and improve neighborhoods by cleaning up parks, buildings and beaches. If your nonprofit organization needs volunteers, please contact our manager of customer advocacy and volunteerism at 732-938-1074, or send an e-mail to vision@njng.com. All requests are subject to review.

  • Does NJNG support any educational programs?

    • Education is among the most important investments we can make in the future of our communities. NJNG’s Energy for Education program supports a variety of learning opportunities for students of all ages.

      Our Project Venture mentoring program gives students the chance to experience the business world firsthand. NJNG’s Libraries On-Line program supports lifelong learning by offering faster and improved access to online information and communication at public libraries.
