Engineer I, New Jersey Natural Gas
Location: 1415 Wyckoff Road, Wall, NJ 07719
Opening Date: 9/1/10
Primary Responsibility: Within the guidelines of accepted company policy and federal regulations, coordinates the cathodic protection effort for the company’s transmission, trunk, pump and distribution systems. Conduct field surveys of various compliance activities relating to corrosion control of underground steel systems, atmospheric inspection of exposed pipe and inspection of contractor work activity.
Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of five years experience in cathodic protection and corrosion control technology or gas distribution and transmission mains, or combined equivalent of education and experience. A 4-year degree in Engineering or related science is required. Must be proficient in computer use.
